early LB publications
Little Chums is about 18cm x 24cm in size. The cover is
thin card and the pages are rough paper with line illustration apart from
one full page colour illustration. It is not dated but states on the title
page it is published by Wills and Hepworth and at the bottom of the front
cover has 'Ladybird' Series. Most interestingly on the back cover it pictures
in black and white 4 other titles and lists some Drawing andTracing and
also some Painting Book titles. .It looks as though there were quite a
few more pre 40's titles than we were aware of! Details/scan courtesy
